Roberto Pagaria awarded major Ministry grant for "Chow Rings of Toric Arrangements" project

We are pleased to announce that Roberto Pagaria, Associate Professor at our Department, has secured significant Ministry grant FIS2 for the project "Chow Rings of Toric Arrangements" (CRoTA).

Roberto Pagaria has been an Associate Professor of Geometry at the University of Bologna since October 2024. Born in Milan in 1992, he was a student at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa from 2011 and earned his PhD (Perfezionamento) in Mathematics in 2019. He has been with the University of Bologna since October 2019, where he has held various academic positions. His research lies at the intersection of Algebra and Algebraic Topology, with a particular focus on their combinatorial aspects and further developments in Representation Theory and Algebraic Geometry. His scientific output already includes numerous papers published or accepted for publication, many of which appear in top-tier international journals. He has been an invited speaker at several prestigious international workshops and is a member of the EMS (European Mathematical Society) Young Academy.
