The Department of Mathematics at the University of Bologna is inviting expressions of interest for a new position at the level of Tenure Track Assistant Professor (RTT, ricercatore/ricercatrice a tempo determinato in tenure track) or Associate Professor (professore/professoressa associato) pursuant to art. 1, co. 9, Legge 230/2005.
The call of interest aims at recruiting researchers currently employed outside the Italian territory with a strong expertise and with an outstanding track record in any field of Mathematics.
Applicants are requested to submit their expression of interest to the Department Director, Prof. Annamaria Montanari sending an email at mat.direzione@unibo.it expressely stating the academic level of the position they would apply (either Tenure Track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor).
Additionally, the applicant must provide the following documents:
- the Academic Curriculum Vitae;
- at most 3 letters of reference;
- a certificate of service stating the Applicant’s current position and the date of enrollment released by the Entity of Affiliation
The approximate annual starting gross salary is:
- Associate professor: € 57.132,90
The approximate annual gross salary for the Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) position varies across three salary levels:
- Minimum: € 39.224
- Intermediate: € 47.069
- Maximum: € 50.992
The final salary will be determined by the Department Board, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to deliver a seminar to the Department Board, scheduled for June 17 at 2:00 pm.
